RCT Training Overview
Since 2018, students that completed the UTTAA RCT training program have a 100% pass rate on the Department of Energy (DOE) Fundamental Core Exam.
The RCT Training Program is a 10-week virtual, real-time class where you will learn how to launch your career in Radiation Protection.
During your 10-week RCT training you will:
- Complete 278 hours of live instruction on Department of Energy (DOE) fundamental and site academic lessons.
- Pass 13 Core Fundamental Academic Training module quizzes with an 80% or higher.
- Review 19 Site Academic Training modules.
- Pass 150 questions Core Fundamental Academic Training Comprehensive exam with an 80% or higher.
- Receive a Certificate of Completion for the DOE Core Fundamental Comprehensive exam.
How It Works
STUDENTS
The RCT training program is FREE for students attending a qualifying Minority Serving Institution.
Students accepted into the RCT training program get PAID!
Why? Because the RCT training program for students is the equivalent of a paid internship.
EMPLOYED/UNEMPLOYED STEM PROFESSIONALS
Non-students are welcome to apply for the RCT Training Program. Feel free inquire about partial or full tuition waivers during your application and interview process. (Training cost: $3,999)
